SHREVEPORT, La. (September 18, 2018) – Allegiance Health Management (AHM) announced today that Kevin Frank has accepted the role as the new CEO for Acadian Medical Center.

I am certain his commitment to excellence in ensuring high quality health care will follow him to the Eunice community.”, stated Don Cameron, AHM Chief Operating Officer.

Kevin comes to Allegiance from LHC Group in Lafayette, LA, where he served as CEO/Administrator of Louisiana Extended Care Hospital for the past 8 years. He previously served as the Chief Operation Officer there as well. Mr. Frank has been in healthcare for over 20 years, with 15 years of experience in hospital leadership. He obtained a General Studies degree from University of Louisiana at Lafayette, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Frank was born in Crowley, LA. He and his family currently reside in Robert’s Cove, LA.

SHREVEPORT, La.-August 27, 2018— Allegiance Health Management (AHM) announced today that Calvin Green has accepted the role as the new CEO for Mercy Regional Medical Center.  


“It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I announce Calvin Green’s acceptance of the CEO position of Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte, Louisiana. Calvin has been with the AHM hospital family for several years and has shown a strong commitment to success at Sabine Medical Center, which is second to none. I’m certain this commitment to excellence will follow in his new CEO role at Mercy.  Rock (Rock Bordelon, CEO) and I are very pleased to keep Calvin within our family of hospitals. We will be searching to fill the Sabine CEO role along with the Eunice facility”, stated Don Cameron, AHM Chief Operating Officer.


Mr. Green has over 30 years’ experience in hospital administration. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Hospital and Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Mr. Green served as the CEO for Sabine Medical Center and will transition into his new role September 4, 2018.

SHREVEPORT, La. (July 31, 2018) – Allegiance Health Management (AHM) has finalized the purchase of three hospitals in Louisiana from subsidiaries of Tennessee-based LifePoint Health:

  • Mercy Regional Medical Center of Ville Platte
  • Acadian Medical Center (a campus of Mercy Regional) of Eunice
  • Minden Medical Center of Minden

“Over the past months, we have been incredibly impressed by these hospital teams and their commitment to enhancing quality patient care and safety. Louisiana is our home, and we look forward to working with these hospitals to improve healthcare delivery across this region,” said Rock Bordelon, chief executive officer (CEO) of AHM. “We are delighted to add these hospitals to the AHM health system and further demonstrate our commitment to this region.”

With the purchase of Mercy Regional Medical Center, Acadian Medical Center and Minden Medical Center, the AHM health system grows to 16 hospitals strong in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi and Arkansas. Its facilities offer a range of inpatient and outpatient services as well as post-acute care and behavioral health services.

The transition is anticipated to be seamless for patients. Providers and contact information for the hospitals will remain the same. AHM also plans to maintain all services the hospitals currently offer with plans to expand service lines as well.

(CHS).

Allegiance Health Management, a Louisiana based healthcare company with corporate headquarters in Shreveport, currently operates 12 hospitals in four states and is expanding its operations in Louisiana. AHM brings extensive years of healthcare operational experience to rural communities.

Don Cameron, AHM Chief Operating Officer, stated, “Our family roots are strong in Louisiana. Rock Bordelon, CEO of Allegiance Health Management, and I are from rural Louisiana communities. We take personal pride in providing quality healthcare to the communities that we serve. We look forward to becoming a valued part of the Leesville community and adding Byrd Regional and their exceptional medical staff and team to our family of hospitals.”

The due diligence and discovery process continues in order to allow both Allegiance Health Management and Community Health Systems to best plan for the future of Byrd Regional Hospital.

The transaction is expected to be complete in the second quarter of this year, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
